You can set up your Bodytorc suspension trainer a number of ways. The most common is on a bar with the arms parallel or joined in the middle to form a V shape. Both work well.
Having them separate means you have two totally independent arms with a bit more space between them.
V shaped setups are great for single anchor points or if you want to quickly change from a pulling to a pushing exercise.
There is no correct height, anything above head height works well.
