Works great as a warmup. Do this exercise often to improve your balance and get all the other benefits that come from standing on one leg, such as strengthening the stability of your ankles, knees and hips and it's also a great way to warm up the hamstrings. It's the kind of thing you can spend a minute doing before each workout and over time you will start to notice how much more stable you are.
